The Oldest Miniature Railway located on the grounds of a Public House, The Fancott Miniature Railway (FMR) is a 7¼ inch miniature railway located in the gardens of The Fancott Public House near Toddington, Bedfordshire. There has been a railways on the grounds of The Fancott Pub for over half a century in one form or another.
Due to the heat, we’re closing our gates a little earlier today. Thank you to everyone who came along today! We’ll see you on Sunday!! ☺️ ☀️
Welcome to all our new followers! If you haven’t been to our railway yet, do come visit soon! As well as the railway, there’s a Grade II listed pub serving drinks and food, as well as a children’s play area, so you can make a proper afternoon of it! See you soon!
We’ve featured in another book - ‘50 Gems of Bedfordshire’ by John and Jenny Jackson! We love seeing our little railway in print, especially being referred to as a ‘gem’! We think it is and it’s lovely to see other people think so too! ☺️🚂
