The Oldest Miniature Railway located on the grounds of a Public House, The Fancott Miniature Railway (FMR) is a 7¼ inch miniature railway located in the gardens of The Fancott Public House near Toddington, Bedfordshire. There has been a railways on the grounds of The Fancott Pub for over half a century in one form or another.
Thank you to all our visitors today! It was great to welcome you! Did you spot the new loop being cleared in the trees? If you haven’t see it yet, make sure you take a look! This loop has been in the plans for over 26 years and we’re finally at the point of building! We still have a way to go: we’ve managed to get the track but we still need to raise funds for the ballast and machinery to finish the ground work. If you’ld like to donate a little towards our project, you’ll find the link to our GoFundMe pinned to the top of our page - any amount is appreciated!! Hello again Friday! We’ve missed you! 🥰 It’s almost the weekend and time to make you plans to come along to the oldest pub garden miniature railway, in the grounds of a Grade II listed country pub! Our gate opens at 12.30 with the last train at 4.50 - just head to the ticket office when you’re ready to ride! We’ll see you there! ☺️ ☀️ 🚂
