The Oldest Miniature Railway located on the grounds of a Public House, The Fancott Miniature Railway (FMR) is a 7¼ inch miniature railway located in the gardens of The Fancott Public House near Toddington, Bedfordshire. There has been a railways on the grounds of The Fancott Pub for over half a century in one form or another.
This weekend is almost here and it’s the one we’ve all been waiting for - our Scamp Invasion!! We have 13 Scamp locos booked in to take passengers around our railway! As well as all the fun to be had, it’s also a great opportunity for anyone interested in building their own little loco to come down, take a look and ask questions about them! The owners will be more than happy to talk to you!! As always, ticket office opens at 12.30. No need to book, just come along when you’re ready to ride! ☺️
It’s our last Wednesday of the summer holidays, and we’ll be open this afternoon from 12.30, with the last train at 3.50.
If you haven’t already heard, we’re building another loop at our railway!! This has been our dream for 26 years and FINALLY, it’s becoming a reality. While we’ve managed to get track and sleepers, we still need to raise the funds for machinery and stone needed to prepare the track and lay the stone. If you can spare a few pounds to help us, it will be appreciated! Please share with your family and friends and tell them all about us! 🥰
