The Oldest Miniature Railway located on the grounds of a Public House, The Fancott Miniature Railway (FMR) is a 7¼ inch miniature railway located in the gardens of The Fancott Public House near Toddington, Bedfordshire. There has been a railways on the grounds of The Fancott Pub for over 30 years in one form or another.
Welcome to our new followers! We’re the oldest pub garden miniature railway in the UK, with trains running on this site for over half a century! We’re open every weekend, bank holidays and Wednesdays during local school holidays. Please note the railway is closed today as our volunteers say a final goodbye to our late Chair, Keith Dalkin. Keith served as head of our committee for the last three years until illness prevented him from doing as much as he would have liked to. He was dedicated to the wellbeing of our volunteers and the future of our unique railway. Our volunteers will be attending his funeral before raising a glass to him.
