The Oldest Miniature Railway located on the grounds of a Public House, The Fancott Miniature Railway (FMR) is a 7¼ inch miniature railway located in the gardens of The Fancott Public House near Toddington, Bedfordshire. There has been a railways on the grounds of The Fancott Pub for over half a century in one form or another.
Our ‘Chief Engineer’ is being kept busy! Herbie has been a bit temperamental lately and needs some tlc, so Alan and Tony are turning him round ready to go back in the workshop! #volunteersmakeadifference #miniaturerailway
Today’s trains are being pulled by our Phoenix! She’s been out of action for a few months getting a new paint job! Although not completely finished, we’re now able to get her back in traffic where she belongs! ☺️
IT’S THE WEEKEND - make sure to include a trip to the oldest pub garden miniature railway in the UK! Our lovely volunteers will be ready to welcome you for a ride or two. No need to book - just head to the ticket office when you’re ready! See you there! Choo choo! 🚂☀️🚂
Scamp 141 "Red Dwarf" has been undergoing some alterations - you may have seen her parked outside the workshop at times. Now she has her name back on her new bonnet!
