The Oldest Miniature Railway located on the grounds of a Public House, The Fancott Miniature Railway (FMR) is a 7¼ inch miniature railway located in the gardens of The Fancott Public House near Toddington, Bedfordshire. There has been a railways on the grounds of The Fancott Pub for over 30 years in one form or another.
Welcome to the weekend and the start of the Easter holidays!! We’re open every weekend as well as bank holidays and Wednesdays during local school hols. That means, over the next couple of weeks, we’re open LOTS!! Make the most of the blue skies and come along for a ride on the oldest pub garden miniature railway in the UK! Gates open at 12.30. Just £3 per person per ride.
This week Luton Road has been closed during the day, with access on request to the pub and railway. We’ve been told the road will be OPEN for the weekend, so usual access will be in place! Don’t forget, we’ll be open from 12.30 with the last train at 4.50. Make sure to pop along for some fun on our little railway! #miniaturerailway #pubgardenrailway #2026Season
Two of our volunteers work in a school which celebrated ‘Belonging Day’ today. Students and staff were encouraged to wear something showing where they feel they belong, whether it’s a country or club.
