The Fancott Miniature Railway (LU5 6HT) is always looking for more volunteers to keep this unique heritage railway alive for future generations! There’s been a miniature railway in The Fancott nr. Toddington pub garden since the 1970’s and its current form has been in place for nearly 25 years, making it the oldest pub garden miniature railway in the UK, and a place you’re likely to have visited when you were younger! We love hearing the stories from our visitors of how they brought their children and are now bringing their grandchildren! We’ve had visitors celebrating milestone anniversaries and 100yr birthdays with us as our railway holds a place in their hearts. Without our band of volunteers this little piece of history would have disappeared a long time ago! We need you to get involved and keep our railway alive for more generations to enjoy. There are so many benefits to volunteering, least of all combating loneliness and opportunities to get to know people from different walks of life, and our team is friendly and welcoming to all! There’s lots to do from grounds and track maintenance to customer service to driving trains! DM the railway, or email, for more info. ... See MoreSee Less

Are you the proud owner of a fab little Scamp loco? If so, then contact us about joining our Scamp Invasion in August! Our first Scamp Invasion last year was a popular event - multiple trains running at the same time plus Scamps coupling together for the final passenger train made it a real treat!
